I'm an avid reader, and I like to go outside my comfort zone often when a story captures my interest! I'm not partial to any particular genres or styles, though I would request no first-person or tragedy if at all possible. Persona 5
I played Persona 5 later than most, but I loved it immediately. Akira is an incredibly colorful silent protagonist. I love his cheeky mannerisms and boyish hand gestures. I also loved the adventure that the whole Phantom Thief angle brought to the table for the Persona series. Slinking along rooftops, picking locks, and hacking into security systems all make everything far more fun for me. To say nothing of the aesthetic! I think the whole game and cast were very stylish.
Joker/Akira
While I'm definitely in the camp that believes that Akira and Joker are the same person, I do love the idea behind Joker being a separate entity as well. I like the layer of magic and fantasy that this adds. The idea of having a mischievous and overly confident doppelganger that wears your face and body in a completely different way is sexy as hell. Especially so for someone as overworked and self-sacrificing as Akira who really needs someone to push him into fun/relaxation/self-indulgence.

I admit the only character I really wanted to date in the game was Iwai, and I am still so mad that I couldn't. I found his rough personality and backstory to be very compelling, and I feel like someone who is as much of an adrenaline junkie as Akira would have a special sort of attraction towards dangerous people like him.

Ann's very obvious love and regard for Shiho was the biggest running theme in her social link. She loved Shiho in ways she couldn't even articulate. I remember being so excited to be Akira and be there with her through that. Ann is still young and learning about herself and who she wants to be, and Shiho is there trying to shoulder all of her problems alone. Perhaps Shiho has even figured out already what she wants and who she is. She always came off as a very steady character pushed to the limits by her circumstances. It feels like Ann gravitates towards those steady people (like Akira), and I love the idea that Shiho is her rock or center when her personality and dreams are so full of fire and lively.

When I was introduced to this pairing I fell in love with it immediately. Akira is a character that I adore for being so colorful for a silent protagonist. I feel like he is effortlessly charming and his daredevil qualities pair beautifully with Kazuya who had to go through some extremely daring things in his own story line. They both shoulder extreme burdens affecting humanity, but do so with unshakeable confidence and humor. I would love to see them in any capacity whether that be fluff, angst, humor, or smut.

I'm sure it is more than obvious that I love to mix Devil Survivor and Persona 5. They have so many similar elements that it makes it a lot of fun to imagine how well they'd mesh. Yamato is my absolute favorite DeSu character. I love everything about him. I love his almost sacrificial attitude towards Japan and how he is more than willing to give up his childhood and his own life to see it looked after. I love his selfless views on his meritocracy and how he wants it for the betterment of his country even if he there didn't end up to be a place for him in it. I especially love that he has a sense of humor that likely no one knows about because he intimidates them. And how he speaks like a complete nerd because he's never been around people his own age. He's so delightful. Akira understands self-sacrifice for the greater good and stuffing yourself into a mold to get through life. I rather love that those are about the only things they have in common. It would be lovely to see these two opposites come together and impress one another with their different skills and knowledge. Plus, Akira always came off intensely charming to me. If anyone could thaw Yamato over into the idea of a romantic relationship it would be a wily phantom thief.

Dragon Age
The details are my very favorite thing about Dragon Age. If you are the sort of person who enjoys in depth descriptions of locations, clothes, meals, etc then I am so excited. My favorite stories are the sort that really give a slice of life on top of the main plot and relationship. I love to hear about the food they eat, the smells and sounds around them, the irritating bullshit that you have to deal with living in a mostly medieval setting, etc. And if that's not your thing then that's totally okay too. I am just as happy and eager to receive a coffee shop AU or a blow by blow action sequence against bandits. I love all aspects of the game and characters. You can go as AU as you want, and I'll be thrilled to see how it affects the existing characters.
Carver Hawke/Felix Alexius
I stumbled upon this pairing reading and have never been able to stop. Felix is one of my very favorite characters in Inquisition. I still feel slighted by his short time in the story. He painted such an interesting picture as a character. One that I wanted to see more of very badly. He was a character of silent strength and selflessness who did good even in the worst of circumstances. No matter how small his part was, it was still integral to the outcome. I am so weak to those characters who lived in Tevinter and remained kind and helpful. Felix personified that. And then there is Carver who, to me, has that same kindness in him, but it is so hidden beneath his bitterness and sour disposition as to be almost lost entirely. He is a bleeding heart who spits venom to pretend it doesn't hurt. He would benefit from someone that was his opposite; quietly strong and sweet. Together I think they'd be better than themselves.

Over time fanfic has made me really appreciate Carver and his capacity to be a front and center character, and one with a compelling and flaw ridden story of growth to tell. I think in a romantic relationship he would shine versus the more toxic familial bonds he showcases in the game. I am also incredibly invested in Cullen in Inquistion. His paternal tones and expressions did things to me, and I think for someone as young and eager to please and prove himself as Carver it would do things to him too. I enjoy the bonding that would take place through their shared military background and obvious love of their homeland. They are both characters with good hearts who don't always choose the right path, and I live for that potential in them both.

This pairing is essentially what fueled my now lifetime devotion to this series. I played Dragon Age II first and fell so hard for both of them that I could not get enough. I love Dragon Age for its ability to create these characters that are complicated and troubled and realistic, and Fenris has always been my favorite. I love every single hint of his softer nature that is kept so closely to his chest. The way he makes jokes and plays around with Isabela, how even when you first meet him and he is so aggressively against mages but still thanks Hawke and offers his assistance. He's got a wonderful wealth of different characteristics that both work together and war, and he's fascinating to me. Hawke is beautifully straightforward in who he is and what he cares about. He loses so much in his life, but still finds it in himself to not just keep moving forward, but to be a guiding light in chaos while he does so. I feel like the two of them are both strength personified.

I discovered Bully in college and played it constantly for a good portion of my time. I loved that there were so many characters and each one had their own personality and were able to be interacted with as individuals instead of just flat NPCs. I also loved so many of the locations and the music. It was a very immersive game for me. I spent a good portion of my time simply roaming around looking for hidden nooks and rubber bands, and I enjoy the idea of the characters doing similarly in their own ways.
Gord Vendome/Jimmy Hopkins
Gord was a character I fell in love with during his first cut scene with Jimmy. His awkward, sarcastic little "okay" was very relatable. After that I ended up following him around a lot to listen to his dialogue, and I still find that he is my favorite side character. I enjoy how flagrantly bisexual he is, how obsessed with his appearance and station he is, and that he's one of the few characters who talks about working at all (even if it is for his father's law firm). To me Gord is hard working. He works hard at his looks, his romantic life, and his professional life, and I think that shouldn't be overlooked. Jimmy is hardworking in his own way as well, though his is more tenacity. I think they both have a lot of room for growth and understanding and would be very compatible. I feel like Jimmy shows a preference for cheeky characters, and I think Gord has a definite thing for those he considers 'bad'.

- The adventure aspect is my favorite part of this pairing. Any setting or plot revolving around getting into trouble is something I would love. Breaking and entering is my personal favorite. Even if all they do is break in to enjoy the top of a building alone together or force their way into any number of fun/sexy environments. It could be a bath house in the real world, or something like Madarame's palace in the Metaverse. I'd love to see any of it for that taste of thrill and excitement that these too would chase after together.
- I've recently been thinking about Okage a lot, and I think a scenario where Akira carries Joker with him in his shadow much like Ari carried Stan would be fascinating! Visuals of Akira in front of the bathroom mirror to brush his teeth before shadowy Joker blooms into life just at his back make me swoon. I would love to see hilarious or sexy scenarios with Joker existing as some sort of sexy demon that lives in Akira's shadow.

I admit the only character I really wanted to date in the game was Iwai, and I am still so mad that I couldn't. I found his rough personality and backstory to be very compelling, and I feel like someone who is as much of an adrenaline junkie as Akira would have a special sort of attraction towards dangerous people like him.
Prompts:
- One of my favorite characteristics of Akira is that he is good with his hands when it comes to fiddly things. He makes all of his own lockpicks and bombs, can twirl his phone on a finger, etc. I think that he would be phenomenal at the gun models. An intimate evening spent together working on a model as a couple would be very sensual. I'd consider it a bonus if Iwai still has real guns that he feels he trusts Akira enough to show them to him. Teaching him how to take one apart, clean, and load it would be gorgeous.
- I'm also very intrigued by Iwai's capacity for care and protectiveness. I think it was not always a part of who he was, but something that grew from being a father and seeing so much of the bad in the world. I would be thrilled to see a scenario where Akira comes back from the Metaverse injured and bloody and goes to Iwai's doorstep for help. Iwai angrily playing nurse and making sure he's fed and has somewhere safe to stay is perfect to me. Especially if there was bedsharing. I think the entire scenario would scare the shit out of Iwai to see another young person like himself obviously involved in dangerous things he shouldn't be. He couldn't live with himself if he turned Akira away either. There is something extremely intimate about tending to the wounds of someone you care about or love. It brings to the surface things we may not always want to look at too closely, like just how fragile that person is.

- I'm pretty happy with anything fluffy for these two. Festivals spent watching fireworks in yukatas eating sweets, shopping together and making out in dressing rooms, or just early morning outings to have pancakes and go to Dome Town would all be so nice. They deserve that sort of every day, faintly domestic happiness after being put under the pressures of Kamoshida and then the separation that came later when Shiho went to attend school elsewhere. I just want them to have something nice after it all.
- I would also love to see Ann take Shiho down to the entrance of Mementos to let her see her in her Phantom Thief garb! The idea of delightfully squeaky, leather bodysuity sex on the floor is A+. Maybe Shiho likes scary movies and the creepy atmosphere really does it for her?

- I think Akira and Abel would have great natural chemistry if they were allowed to be in the same room together. I would love to see them get up to shenanigans. This could be breaking and entering or exhibitionist sex. Or exhibitionist sex while breaking and entering. Anything that would suit their adrenaline junkie ways! They both deserve some fun. I'd consider it a bonus if Kazuya is King of Bel and has the ability to use his magic for romance or sex. They're both very extra people and grand displays of magic are highly enjoyable for me. Magic a big bouquet of roses? Lovely. Snap of the fingers to create a bed in the middle of a field? Great. Sex while floating in the air? Brilliant as fuck. I love King of Bel Kazuya and his infinite possibilities. Especially the sexy ones.
- Speaking of magic, I live for scenarios where Akira is taken to Hel to explore and experience it! I also enjoy the idea of him living in it as well. Time moves differently there I would imagine, and a Helcation would be ideal for someone like Akira who just went through a miserable ordeal in the P5 timeline. (Especially since Hawaii was a bust). If Abel could bestow a small bit of his magic into Akira during this trip the possibilities are endless. They could Spiderman along buildings, visit alien places that exist only in fantasy novels, dance in demon clubs, and taste foods that don't exist on Earth. If anyone deserves a time to rest, relax, and enjoy some daredevil activities on the side, it's these two!

- I'm very interested in an AU scenario where instead of sending in Sae, Yamato shows up for Akira's interrogation as part of the JPs agency. Instead of Akira's carefully laid plan to woo Sae, he now has this attractive, stern man his own age that intimidates the hell out of him that he has to convince of something unbelievable. Perhaps Yamato can see his potential after it all is said and done. Yamato knows demons and summoning, but the prospect of an entire sub-reality full of demons? Worth investigating. He could follow along with Akira's plan to stage his murder, but smuggles him out into JPs headquarters for training instead.
- I would fully be on board for an AU where Akira is just another character in the DeSu2 universe. An extremely talented JPs agent for example! Or a plucky civilian that catches his eye much the same as Hibiki did. Either way, Akira is a helper. I can't imagine he wouldn't be in the thick of the story line either way, giving poor Yamato a crisis over how he finds someone attractive. Mid-apocalypse flirting for all.

- Obviously Fix It fic galore. Or at least have Felix well enough to return to Skyhold to live among them. I'm a huge sucker for Carver in the Inquisition working under Cullen. The idea of Carver and Felix catching eyes across the courtyards or during meals is beautiful. Carver bringing in a crate of potion bottles to the mage tower as an excuse to see Felix, awkward conversations about how Felix's visit in the dungeons to see his father went, Felix healing Carver when he returns from an excursion...I am just here for any and all of these small moments as they gravitate towards one another in this magical castle in the mountains.
- Alternatively, if you would prefer a scenario where they are both Grey Wardens I would welcome that. I have a feeling Felix would not feel terribly at home in such a group after his upbringing, but the idea of Carver there to help him fit in and feel less alone would be very sweet. (I'm sure this wouldn't last long either given the future fall of the Grey Wardens.) A moment spent together in fear over the calling full of angst and what comfort they can give would be great. Or maybe even a scenario where the two of them are there aiding Hawke and his companion as they sort out what's happening among their higher ups? Even just a night camping in the Western Approach or Crestwood would make for an intriguing and tiredly romantic moment between them amid the worry and chaos. I admit, I am just a huge sucker for miserable, but in love.

- I love seeing Carver and Cullen in a romantic relationship while also in a work relationship. I especially love to see them in the Inquisition story line. The idea of Carver working for Cullen during the time of Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts makes me smile to imagine them both miserable at the ball. They both would hate being in fancy clothes, surrounded by fancy people, though I imagine Carver might enjoy the flirtations more than his Cullen did. It would be amazing to get to see them that night after the festivities are over, going into the rooms provided that are posh, gilded, and ridiculous. They're both glorified farm boys, and a night on satin sheets getting tipsy on sweet wine and having that blessed opportunity to be alone would be lovely.
- Alternatively, just some wholesome after the Inquisition story line domesticity would be great too. The two of them 'retiring' into the countryside to have a farm and a dog and try to pretend like they don't still wake up from nightmares and starving for a taste of lyrium. They deserve that after the many hardships they paid, and there's nothing quite like two men getting older and being grumpy and happy and finally living The Dream in the small ways they can.

- I am in the middle of my millionth playthrough right now and have been reminded once again that I love Frederic the draconologist. Knowing that the story line puts Hawke in the Western Approach for a period makes me wonder if Hawke visited this man regularly. I can just imagine how fucking excited he would be to listen to him wax on about dragons and learn more about them (And admire the Abyssal High Dragon together). A scenario where Fenris was with them during this stretch of the story and watching his lover be a nerd would be lovely. Or even something a good deal in the future where perhaps Hawke was interested in pursuing more knowledge in that area during the reconstruction period? Or even a complete AU where that was Hawke's profession and he meets Fenris in some exciting new way. I just love dragons okay.
- Just give me some of that good old post fall-of-the-Chantry on the run goodness. Hungry, dirty, wounded, and exhausted, but still finding time to be grateful and in love even amid all of the uncertainty and fear. Plus, the idea of bathing in a small pond or river by night with your glowing boyfriend sounds gorgeous.

I enjoy how flagrantly bisexual he is, how obsessed with his appearance and station he is, and that he's one of the few characters who talks about working at all (even if it is for his father's law firm). To me Gord is hard working. He works hard at his looks, his romantic life, and his professional life, and I think that shouldn't be overlooked. Jimmy is hardworking in his own way as well, though his is more tenacity. I think they both have a lot of room for growth and understanding and would be very compatible. I feel like Jimmy shows a preference for cheeky characters, and I think Gord has a definite thing for those he considers 'bad'.

I love the idea of both of them leaving the toxicity of Bullworth and entering the equally toxic realm of adulthood, but growing and becoming better versions of themselves while still maintaining the flaws that made them enjoyable. I love Gord being vain and obsessed with his romantic and professional life. I love Jimmy with a chip on his shoulder and his untouchable self-confidence and bad attitude. Together they would be a mess of opposites, but one that would be hilarious and with surprising chemistry. I am completely open to interpretation on this prompt. If you would prefer them to be the equivalent of high school sweethearts who stayed together even after graduation then great. If you want them to meet at a bar by pure happenstance sometime after school. Awesome. If you want them both married to other people and meeting again only to have a messy, lust filled encounter in a bathroom? I'm here for it. I love them and their many possibilities.
